The annual Pride and Remembrance Run fundraiser promotes spirit, goodwill, volunteerism and sportsmanship in the LGBTQ+ community. This year, a portion of the proceeds will be directed towards the Transition-Related Surgery Compassionate Fund.

Canadian Medical Hall of Fame honours WCH founder Dr. Emily Stowe

Despite obstacles and resistance, Dr. Emily Stowe persevered and founded the Women’s Medical College in 1883, the first medical school for women and the foundation for Women’s College Hospital today. Last month, she was inducted into the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame.
