With Your Support: New imaging equipment for Women’s

With generous support from the community, urgently needed and life-saving new diagnostic equipment for breast cancer screening is planned to arrive at Women’s College Hospital.

Stacy’s Story: How genetic testing helped her make the decision of a lifetime

When Stacy Zelazny felt a lump in her breast, she was shocked to learn it was breast cancer. A revolutionary new genetic cancer screening study out of WCH allowed her to get the live-saving answers she needed, and to be as preventative as possible.

Every Breast Counts: Cancer information for Black women, by Black women.

Most cancer materials aren’t representative of Black women, leading to potentially life-threatening gaps in cancer care. Dr. Aisha Lofters and her team, in partnership with Olive Branch of Hope, created Every Breast Counts, an online resource for Black women, by Black women to help close that gap.

A Lasting Gift: New endowed Chair in memory of Maureen Green

In memory of long-time member Maureen Green, The Association of Volunteers at WCH made a transformational $3.8 million gift to establish the first-ever Chair in Healthcare Equity and Access and help fund new breast cancer screen equipment. Thank you, Association of Volunteers!
