Women for Women’s raises over $560,000 to advance health equity for all!

We are thrilled to share that Women for Women’s, our annual fundraising gala, has raised $560,225 to break down barriers, open doors, and advance equitable access to healthcare for women and for all.

The event was a huge success, with over 1800 women and allies virtually attending on International Women’s Day, and over $157,000 raised for The Emily Stowe Society, a program designed to engage, retain, and advance diverse representation in the health sciences.

The Slaight Family Foundation donates $1 Million to support mental health initiatives at WCH

The Slaight Family Foundation has donated $1 million to support Women’s College Hospital’s Trauma Therapy Program and to help the Centre for Wise Practices in Indigenous Health to expand its trauma-informed, collaborative care program.

We are extremely grateful to The Slaight Family Foundation for their extraordinary gift which will have a profound and invaluable benefit for our patients and hospital.

Sun Life donates $100,000 to support underrepresented researchers

We are very grateful to Sun Life for making a $100,000 gift to The Emily Stowe Society to empower underrepresented communities and support diverse representation in the health sciences. This generous donation will establish The Sun Life Awards for Excellence in Research.
