LCBO launches fundraising campaign for WCHF
Funds will provide equitable access to health care for women and diverse communities.
March 4, 2021 – Toronto – In alignment with International Women’s Day, the LCBO announces its partnership with Women’s College Hospital Foundation as part of its ongoing commitment to positively impact Ontario’s diverse communities. Rooted in LCBO’s Spirit of Sustainability social impact platform, the campaign aims to improve access to health care for women and marginalized groups.
From now until March 21, the LCBO is fundraising in support of Women’s College Hospital’s mission to close the health gaps for women and underserved populations to create a more equitable healthcare system. Donations raised from the campaign will fund research and programs that are scaled across the province, including for those struggling with substance use and addiction. Customers who are able can donate $2, $5 or $10 alongside their purchase at LCBO stores and online at lcbo.com.
The campaign launches in all retail locations and is supported with promotion across digital channels, including highlighting the work of LCBO’s Good Partners, suppliers who are advancing diversity and inclusion in the beverage alcohol industry.
