Welcome Jordana Novak

On Monday, January 10th, Women’s College Hospital Foundation welcomed Jordana Novak in the new role of Vice President of Events and Community Engagement.
Jordana is a tenured event professional with over 20 years’ experience working with companies and organizations across multiple sectors to enhance financial performance, deepen stakeholder engagement, support brand growth and awareness through events and community engagement. Most recently, Jordana has held leadership roles at Canadian Tire Corporation as Associate VP, Events, The Baycrest Foundation as Director, Events and Jet Set Sports as an Olympic Event Manager.
At Canadian Tire, Jordana was responsible for the company’s entire event portfolio including overseeing Corporate, Consumer and Community events. Under her leadership she guided her team through one of the company’s largest cross functional marketing initiatives, The Canadian Tire Christmas Trail. This multiple award-winning drive-through experience hosted over 22,000 consumers in 2020 safely during the pandemic. The Trail raised $149K for Jumpstart, garnered 11.3M media impressions and 1.5M social impressions in its inaugural year.
At Baycrest, Jordana oversaw a $4 million event portfolio leading the team that created The Brain Project and delivered the largest fundraising gala in Toronto in 2018 to celebrate Baycrest’s 100 year anniversary, raising $10M in gross revenue.
During her tenure at Jet Set Sports, Jordana designed luxury event and travel hospitality programs to four different Olympic Games for sponsors such as: The Bell/CTV Consortium, The Nielsen Company, HBC, RBC, Suncor, AXA and TransCanada Inc.
Jordana brings her wealth of experience and expertise in complex event execution, Board, sponsor and community relations and leadership of passionate, entrepreneurial teams to Women’s College Hospital Foundation. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, she embodies the empathetic, values driven, growth mindset of the Women’s College Hospital Foundation.
In her role at Women’s College Hospital Foundation, Jordana will help build the strategic direction of the Foundation’s Event portfolio. As VP Events and Community Engagement, Jordana’s role will be to lead and mentor the event team and work collaboratively with her colleagues, hospital partners, volunteers and donor community to achieve the hospital’s ambitious goal to Revolutionize Healthcare for Women and for all.
Jordana holds a BA in Psychology from Queens University, LEADS Certification, as well as a Harvard Management Course Certificate.
